DreamWorks stock falls on ‘Guardians’ sales


DreamWorks Animation SKG fell after Caris & Co. downgraded the stock to the equivalent of “sell” after ‘‘shockingly low’’ returns from the studio’s latest film, ‘‘Rise of The Guardians.’’ The stock, down for the third straight day, had gained 8.8 percent this year through Nov. 23. ‘‘Guardians’’ collected just $32.6 million in US and Canadian theaters over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend.
