Burlington-based Exa Corp. posted a quarterly net loss of $36,000, or break-even per share, according to a RTTNews.com report on the ­Nasdaq’s website. Net income was $1.4 million, or 13 cents per share, in the year-earlier period. Total revenue was $12.7 million, an increase of 9 percent from the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of 8 cents per share on revenue of $13.8 million.
