“Top of the WorlDD” is the latest contest for Dunkin’ Donuts, and the person who submits the best photo or video wishing loved ones a happy holiday will get to see their art work up in lights --- in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, no less, as thousands of revelers throng the area below.
Dunkin’ Donuts has had a long-time billboard presence in Times Square. Earlier this year, that signage was upgraded into a digital billboard, enabling the Canton-based chain to rotate ads promoting its various coffee and baked-goods menu items.
The “Top of the WorlDD” contest will have two winners, one in the photo category, the other in the video category, Dunkin’ Donuts said.
Besides having their work exhibited as part of the Big Apple skyline on Dunkin’s Time Square billboard on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the winners will also each win a pair of JetBlue airline tickets.
