Baystate Wealth Management, a Boston-based firm that provides asset management services to high net-worth individuals said it has formed the Sports Group, with Bruins hockey legend Derek Sanderson as managing director.

At the new division, Sanderson will work with Eric Goodman, formerly of Howland Capital. The Sports Group will focus solely on the financial needs of professional athletes and others involved in the business of sports and professional athletics.
