Eaton Vance executive sees market shift ahead

Eaton Vance’s Duncan Richardson notes 2012 is the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dragon — and just as the dot-com bubble peaked during the last Year of the Dragon, US Treasury bonds’ long-running rally might end soon. “What we’re suggesting is that there may be a [market] turn at hand,” said Richardson, chief equity investment officer at Boston-based Eaton Vance. Here are excerpts of Richardson’s thoughts about what 2013 holds for investors:

What do you mean by Year of the Dragon?

Eaton Vance is a part of the Boston Financial services industry, and every community has its own expectations of high ethical standards. If Duncan Richardson ereally wants the American public to listen to him and continue investing in his firm he should direct his firm to DIVEST in any institution that is taking actions that will ultimately harm the United State and the future of its children.

Currently, as I am sure Mr Richardson is well aware, State Street Corp under the direction of its current CEO Jay Hooley and his JVdirector ALLEN GREENE , are engaed in a joint venture with SYNTEL (SYNT) Corp of Troy MI which is wiping out hundreds of middle calss jobs like Fund Accounting, SEC/IRS Compliance, Custody, Financial Reporting, and sending them to INDIA where workers will earn $500 a month to perfrom jobs once done in Kansas City MO, Irvine CA, and North Quincy MA,and downtown boston for approxiately $3,300 a month.

If Mr Richardson wants anyone in Boston or throughout the United State to listen to him he must contact State Street and demand they put an end to their JV or joint Venture with Syntel Corp of TROY MI, or tell StateStreet (617) 786-3000 Eaton Vance will divest in any State Street holdings such as SSgA ETF  funds or SPDR fund as they are marketed. This will make MR Richardson a hero all Americans will listen to and respect.
