Framingham-based TJX Cos., which operates discounters T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods, was among the retailers dragged down by news of disappointing holiday sales. US holiday sales growth slowed this year, according to MasterCard Advisors SpendingPulse. Retail sales grew by 0.7 percent from Oct. 28 to Dec. 24, compared with 2 percent in the same period last year, the firm said. SpendingPulse tracks total US sales at stores and online via all payment forms.
