Product line sales boost Progress Software

Bedford-based Progress Software Corp.’s fiscal fourth-quarter profit jumped as the company recorded gains from selling off several of its product lines. The company reported fourth-quarter earnings of $36 million, or 57 cents a share, on $91.3 million in revenue, compared with earnings of $12.2 million, or 19 cents, on sales of $93.5 million a year ago. Analysts had forecast the company to earn 34 cents.
