The City of Boston will grant up to $10 million in tax breaks to the Lovejoy Wharf project, which could revitalize a section of the waterfront near TD Garden.
Peter Meade, director of the Boston Redevelopment Authority, said the full $10 million will only be granted if the project’s main tenant, Converse Inc., retains the 400 employees it is bringing to the city for the project.

The property tax assessment on my house in Dorchester went up from $181,000 last year to $250,000 this year..IF Mayor Menino wants to secure a handful of jobs for his grandchildren in the future when he is no longer in office (which couldn't be soon enough) tell him to raise the property taxes on his house in Hyde park, and give that money to the "Lovejoys" and State Street Corporations of the world..Down with "King Rat" !!
