Facebook Inc. stock pushed above $30 for the first time since July as the company invited reporters to ‘‘come and see what we’re building’’ on Tuesday at its headquarters. Facebook would say nothing more. The speculation about what will be announced ranged from a Facebook phone, which the company has denied exists, to new search capabilities that would put Facebook in direct competition with Google. The stock debuted last year at a public offering price of $38.
