Care.com, a Waltham company that helps both consumers and the employees of corporate clients get access to child care and other services, said it has bought Parents in a Pinch in an acquisition that will allow it to offer additional services and broaden its customer base.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The primary business of Care.com is to connect families with caregivers. The company offers a suite of online tools that list and sort providers of child care, senior care, pet care, housekeeping, tutoring, and other services. It has approximately 7 million users in more than 15 countries.
