When Harpoon Brewery opened in 1987, its loading docks of a working brewery matched those of neighboring businesses.
But the neighborhood has changed. The brewer underwent a $3.5 million renovation to better accommodate visitors who flock to it.
A wall display at the new entrance is covered with Harpoon beer bottle caps.
A new shop inside near the brew hall sells t-shirts and beer.
Beers roll down the line after being capped on the way to being boxed.
Most of the brewery’s beer is on tap in the new bar at the the new beer hall.
