Needham software company PTC said that SRAM is now using PTC’s product lifecycle management tools in developing and manufacturing components that are used in high-end mountain, racing, and other bikes.

In making such components, Chicago-based SRAM needs to manage product data across a global network of employees, suppliers, and customers, said PTC, which is formally known as Parametric Technology Corp.
