Logan International Airport passenger traffic sets record

A record high 29.3 million passengers traveled through Logan International Airport last year, a 1.4 percent increase over the previous high, set in 2011, the Massachusetts Port Authority reported Thursday.

Massport, which runs Logan, celebrated the record in late December when it recognized a geologist from Maine as the 29 millionth traveler to pass through the airport last year.
