Williams-Sonoma Inc., the San Francisco company that also runs Pottery Barn, reported a solid 4.4 percent increase in holiday revenue and said a 4.8 percent gain in top-line sales put the retailer on course to meet its fiscal fourth-quarter targets. But the company’s per-share outlook for the period stayed pat, disappointing analysts. The company said it still expects to earn between $1.21 and$1.28 per share for the period on total revenue of $1.36 billion to $1.4 billion. Analysts expected $1.30 on revenue of $1.4 billion.
