Brian Lesser made a name for himself in Boston’s nightclub scene, and Marcus Palmer built his reputation by opening posh restaurants in world capitals for a famous chef.
Lesser and Palmer joined forces recently to launch another swank dining spot. Their location of choice: Lexington.

a little further out, and not neccesarily celebrity chefs, but we've also benefitted nicely from two recent (upscale-ish) restaurants in Andover: Brasserie 28 and Yella Grille. I think it's a grand time for restaurant dining these days. It seems to me that the variety, quality and level of service is higher than I can ever recall. I love going into Boston for a night on the town, but having great restaurants out here in the 'burbs is fantastic! All this in a 'bad' economy...
The article could have included Petit Robert in Needham. One of the best and now also in the burbs!
Parking is sometimes free in the suburbs and there are Mass Pike tolls, making the upscale dining a little more affordable. Heh restauranteurs: check out Framingham!
