FAA cuts could cause flight delays, less oversight

New England travelers may face flight disruptions, and there could be less oversight of planes, if massive federal budget cuts start happening Friday as expected.

In anticipation of funding reductions, the Federal Aviation Administration is preparing to reduce expenditures by $600 million, from early April through the end of September, by furloughing air traffic controllers, closing more than 100 air traffic control facilities around the country, and eliminating midnight shifts at more than 60 locations.

Captured "illegal aliens"?  You know something about Area 51 that I don't?  Or in your world are Canadians, Mexicans, or anyone for that matter from Latin America not part of the human species?  Or are you talking about "illegal immigrants".  You like "illegal aliens" because it dehumanizes what you don't like, therefore you can do anything without guilt.  We used to do that to the "gooks" so we weren't abusing something human.

There is a problem with "illegal immigration" that however has nothing to do with air traffic control.  While your venting your anger I'd sugges venting it at those at fault and that would be both President Obama and the Congress, (either party), doesn't matter.  Otherwise you just another zealot with an agenda.

Maybe this means we can eliminate the whole TSA security-molestation theater complex. I call that progress.
