Local burger chain b.good ready to grow

First conquer New England. Then the East Coast. And finally, the country.

The founders of b.good, a Boston chain of nine farm-to-table burger and fry joints, are launching an ambitious campaign to spread their feel-good fast food in two weeks with the opening of the company’s first franchise store in Shrewsbury.

May I recomend the "All Star Burger" at the 99.......The Best!

I thought we were not suppposed to be eating much beef or french fries, "natural" or local or not.  The new research in New England, same place as this chain, demonstrates that eating red meat is generally not desirable!   Sounds like Mickey D's at the local level, all over again.

Seems as though this may not be the place to visit for those lacking the ability to see beyond the end of their own noses.

I don't pay much attention to "farm to fork," but I can tell you that food at b.good is more than a "cut above"--the burgers are delicious". It's not another McDonalds.  (I've eaten at b.good twice).

Yikes! How many more burger joints can the market sustain? Besides the usual suspects (Mickey D's, Burger King, Wendy's) we have 5 Guys and a score of other burger places. It appears our national appetite for food that is bad for us is exploding. Ever see the show "Bacon US" on cable? I guy (a rather well "rounded" guy at that) drives around the country looking for the biggest, baddest bacon experience he can get. And he gets them for sure. Wow. It's like watching someone commit suicide in very slow motion.

B.good is a burger place with a difference -- they don't rely on only beef, either.  The one in my neighborhood (now gone, alas) had a wonderful veggie burger, a chicken sandwich and also a turkey burger.  And their treatments are interesting -- ideas that the big chains will never put into practice (avocado and cilantro, for example).  Truly not just fast food, but real food -- salads, too.  And, if you join the "family," you get special treatment.  If a b.good opens in your neighborhood, do check it out.  And consider yourself lucky to have it!

(No, I do not work for them, though I do know Jon.  I just honestly like the food.)
