Hess to exit the gas station business

NEW YORK (AP) — Hess is getting out of the gas station business and ridding itself of its energy trading and marketing businesses, as it shifts its focus further into exploration and production.

They have the cheapist gas in metro Boston. Shell is always 25-30 cents higher for reqular. And Shell's advertised price is cash only. Hess is cash or credit, same price

I've always liked most Hess's as a retail station.  They must either have a decent business template or they have a very good regional manager.  Except for the station near Gillette, most of the stations are clean and the employees seem very polite.  I've since moved to buying most of my fuel (and there's a whole lot of diesel and gas being bought every month) from Irving.  A nice, moderate sized company that operates in the Northeast with great customer service.
