Starbucks, Green Mountain extend partnership

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters reached its highest price since October 2011. The maker of Keurig single-serve brewers raised its profit forecast on higher K-Cup sales and unveiled an expanded partnership with Starbucks, a five-year deal that triples the number of branded single-serve packs Starbucks makes for Green Mountain’s Keurig machines.

Green Mountain on Wednesday said that stronger sales helped lift its profit by 42 percent in its fiscal second quarter.
