Another benefit of the new office: It is designed to help reduce the firm’s carbon footprint.

The new space is designed to support employee collaboration and innovation, the firm said in a press release. All workspaces have access to natural light as well as to modern conference and team rooms.

“We are very excited to be relocating to the heart of Boston’s financial district,” Scott Levy, Grant Thornton’s New England managing partner, said in a statement. “The new space at 75 State St. allows for a more team-oriented work environment, ultimately enabling us to better serve our clients.”

According to Grant Thornton’s website, the firm’s national office is located in Chicago.
