The Port of Boston has a new director.
Massachusetts Port Authority chief executive Thomas Glynn on Thursday named Deborah Hadden to oversee operations at the authority’s non-aviation properties.
Hadden will be responsible for planning, development, marketing, operations, security, financial management, administration, and maintenance.
Hadden had been acting director since October.
During that time, she implemented productivity gains at Conley Terminal as part of successful contract negotiations with the International Longshoreman’s Association. She also led successful negotiations with MSC, Conley’s busiest steamship line, and secured a six-year agreement with Cosco.
Hadden has worked at Massport since 1995.
