Massachusetts gas prices are up a penny a gallon, AAA Southern New England says

The average price for gas in Massachusetts is $3.47 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, up a penny from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.

The Massachusetts average is 6 cents higher than it was a month ago.

The current Massachusetts average price is 15 cents higher than the national average of $3.32 a gallon, AAA Southern New England said.

A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 2 cents lower at $3.45.

In the latest weekly Massachusetts survey, there was a 26 cent range in prices, from a low of $3.35 to a high of $3.61.

AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
