Logan returning to normal

Flights in and out of Logan International Airport were returning to a more normal schedule as of 10:30 Thursday night, according to Newton-based FlightView.

About 20 percent of departing flights were considered very late, though about 40 percent of departures and 60 percent of arrivals were classified as on time.

At 6:15 p.m., about 40 percent of scheduled flights in and out of the airport were canceled.

The Federal Aviation Administration updated its advisory status for the airport to normal, according to FlightView.

The National Weather Service said skies will be sunny on Friday but that snow will return early Saturday morning.
