Vistaprint takes a beating in third quarter

Shares of Vistaprint NV plummeted after the online marketing products and services company’s third-quarter results missed estimates. The company also narrowed its earnings guidance for full-year 2014, while raising its annual revenue outlook. Vistaprint, which bases its US headquarters in Lexington, reported adjusted net income of $8.27 million or 24 cents per share, compared to $16.93 million or 48 cents in the year-ago quarter. Analysts expected earnings of 59 cents.
