Mass. gas prices remain unchanged

The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.68 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, the same as the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday. The state average is 16 cents higher than it was a month ago.

The current Massachusetts average is 1 cent higher than the national average of $3.67.

A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average was 26 cents lower at $3.42, AAA Southern New England said.

In the latest weekly survey, the range in prices was 25 cents, from a low of $3.54 to a high of $3.79.

AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
