Mass. gas prices hold steady at $3.65 a gallon

The average price for a gallon of gas in Massachusetts was $3.65 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, the price unchanged from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Tuesday.

Prices locally are 3 cents lower than a month ago.

The current Massachusetts average is the same as the current national average of $3.65 a gallon, AAA Southern New England said.

A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 14 cents lower at $3.51 a gallon.

In the current weekly Massachusetts survey, the range in prices was 26 cents, from a low of $3.53 to a high of $3.79.

AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
