Julia Cumes for The Boston Globe
Renee and John Molinari are opening a coffee house and cocktail lounge in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard.
The restaurant will be led by executive chef Jerry Marano and will serve Asian- and North African-inspired small dishes.
Marano prepared grilled pork belly sushi with coconut sticky rice and red grape chutney.
Among the offerings at the soon-to-open restaurant are grilled scallops, sweet chilli and cream fraiche with a parsnip chip.
Oak Bluffs is an eclectic, beachside party town that attracts the island’s youngest demographic of visitors, while Edgartown tends to draw older, well-heeled professionals.
Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs is filled with shops.

Among the shops on Circuit Avenue is The Black Dog.
Eddie Madeiros of Woburn, who was visiting the island, walked past The Black Dog with his black lab, Stanley.
