Mass. gas prices fall 4 cents, AAA says

The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.58 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 4 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.

Over the last month, the Massachusetts average has fallen 12 cents.


The current Massachusetts average is 6 cents higher than the current national average of $3.52 a gallon.

A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 13 cents higher at $3.71, AAA Southern New England said.

In the latest Massachusetts weekly survey, the range in prices was 48 cents, from a low of $3.41 to a high of $3.89.

AAA’s weekly Massachusetts survey focuses on self-serve, regular, unleaded gas.
