Constant Contact buys NY firm

Waltham-based Constant Contact Inc., a provider of e-mail marketing services, has purchased a New York City company, SinglePlatform, for about $65 million. SinglePlatform, which helps small businesses get found via Web and mobile searches, will continue to operate out of New York. Its offerings complement Constant Contact’s marketing tools by helping small businesses “reach and engage’’ customers sooner, according to a press release.
