UniFirst Corp.’s third-quarter earnings easily beat analysts’ estimates and the Wilmington company, which produces uniforms and other workplace clothing, again raised its outlook for the fiscal year. UniFist has maintained its growth despite the weak jobs market. Revenue for the quarter was $320.9 million, up 10.1 percent from a year earlier. Net income was $27.5 million ($1.37 per diluted share) compared to $18.4 million ($0.93 per diluted share) in the year-ago period. “Although the employment situation remains sluggish, we continue to focus on areas within our control,” said Ronald D. Croatti, chief executive.
