The way anti gun nutters attempt to "protect" themselves from gun nuts is by trying to pass laws, then send other men out with guns to enforce their will.
In any case, the premise of this cartoon is incorrect, "gun nuts" haven't attacked anyone. The insane have. Insane people use all kinds of weapons, but it seems that the young ones in the last 20-30 years have decided guns are the weapon of choice. Think that might tell us all something, considering that guns and insane people have existed for a very long, long time? Maybe something changed?
I suppose Wasserman was desperate, so like everyone else, drop the problem at the feet of law abiding gun owners. Well, maybe that is the best place afterall, since at least they are honest enough to not just think it is a "gun" problem.
