Naomi Kliman, 82, a resident at NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham who has early-stage Alzheimer’s disease, is known as “the pianist of NewBridge.”
Kliman rehearsed in the meditation room on her organ, which she donated to NewBridge.
Residents Robert Levin and Beatrice Traiman danced to a song Kliman played.
In her room, Kliman reviewed the music she planned to perform.
Kliman brushed her hair in her bathroom before a performance.
Her son, Burton Kliman, sat with her as she played before her peers.
Resident Beatrice Traiman danced to a song Kliman played.
Residents sang along with Kliman’s playing.
Kliman, formerly of Dorchester, taught music for 65 years.
