Jake Johnson from ‘New Girl’ chats on Boston.com

Actor Jake Johnson, best known as Nick on “New Girl,’’ was in Boston Wednesday to promote his hit Fox comedy, which has its season finale next week. The Chicago native - who also appears with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the big screen adaptation of “21 Jump Street’’ - was nice enough to stop by the Globe for an online chat with Boston.com readers. He told his local fans all about his costar Zooey Deschanel, his Tuesday night trip to Fenway Park, his upcoming movie projects (which include “Safety Not Guaranteed’’ with Aubrey Plaza), and his hopes for Theo Epstein and his hometown Cubs.
