G. Love keeps a secret date at Storyville

Using an alias - Butter - Back Bay denizen and singer G. Love played a secret show at Storyville Tuesday. (His current band features Johnny Trama, Timo Shanko, and Tom Arey.) Organized by MySecretBoston.com music editor Jeff Wallace, the show sold out soon after it was announced a few days ago. G. Love, whose latest CD, “Fixin’ to Die,’’ was produced by the Avett Brothers, is scheduled to perform June 30 at the Bank of America Pavilion.
