Bruins do-gooder defenseman Andrew Ference was among the 600 guests at Thursday’s fund-raising breakfast for the Pine Street Inn. (The annual event raises money for housing, job training, and support services for the homeless.) Others in the crowd included Mayor Tom Menino and wife Angela, former governor Mike Dukakis and wife Kitty, city councilor Bill Linehan, the BRA’s Peter Meade, talk show host Callie Crossley, husband-and-wife restaurateurs Chris Myers and Joanne Chang, BJ’s Wholesale CEO Laura Sen, Satchel Paige biographer Larry Tye, and, of course, Pine Street president Lyndia Downie.
