The Boston fashion designers showing their clothes at a June 16 runway event at the Seaport Hotel may not be internationally known, but the VIPs slated to be in attendance are instantly recognizable. “Sex and the City” fashion plate Sarah Jessica Parker will be in attendance at a show featuring clothes from Boston designers Candice Wu, Nara Paz, and Pavlina Gilson. The fashion show and shopping event will be hosted by Leighton Meester. Other guests watching the stylish proceedings that night include Naomi Campbell and Sharon Stone. It’s all part of the conference devised by Andover native Matt Goldstein to highlight Russia’s current tech and media boom. The confab, called EuraMedia 2012, opens with Stone hosting a cocktail soiree. The week closes with Meester hosting the fashion show and shopping party. Other heavy hitters in Boston for the June 13-16 conference include Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, Groupon founder Andrew Mason, and Hulu president Jason Kilar.
