Boston Beer Week runs through Sunday, which means that people are sipping — and sniffing — local brews all around town. On Tuesday night, Beer Week was celebrated on both sides of the river with parties at Cambridge Brewing Co., Five Horses Tavern in Somerville, Canary Square in Jamaica Plain, and Bukowski Tavern in Boston. Revelers at the Cambridge Brewing Co. Beer Week kickoff party included Chris Tkach of Idle Hands Craft Ales and CBC brewers Jay Sullivan and Sean Nolan. Guests at the Canary Square event included Martha Holley-Paquette and Anya Kanevsky, of Pretty Things Beer.

Correction: Because of a photographer’s error, the names of Martha Holley-Paquette and Anya Kanevsky were transposed in an earlier version of the photo caption for this story.
