New spokesperson for the Boston Police

The Boston Police Department has hired a new spokesperson to replace Elaine Driscoll, who’s leaving the post to become the director of communications at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. We’re told the BPD’s new flack is Cheryl Fiandaca, a reporter for WCVB-TV Channel 5 who also happens to be the ex-wife of onetime Boston Police Commissioner Bill Bratton.
