OnLocationVacations.com, a website that follows movie shoots around the country, posted word yesterday that Billy Dowd Casting will host auditions on June 23 for extras for the Sandra Bullock/Melissa McCarthy movie that will film in Boston next month. The casting call for the untitled buddy cop movie will be held at the Boston Teachers Union Hall. Casting directors are apparently looking for people to play ex-convicts, “ladies of the night,” cops, prison guards, and junkies. Yes, this will be a comedy. . . . There’s also a casting call on June 23 for the next season of “The Bachelor.” Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture will host the auditions for ABC at its store in Westborough from 1 to 5 p.m. You must be single and 21 or older to apply. You also have to be open to flying to Los Angeles if you’re called for more interviews.
