Tony winner James Corden visits Boston

English actor James Corden was somewhere in our midst Thursday. A 2012 Tony winner for his role in “One Man, Two Guvnors,” Corden tweeted early in the day that he was headed for the Hub, but for a very brief visit: “Its 6am here and im on my way to Boston to do a Vogue shoot with Annie Leibovitz. 6 hour round trip!” . . . There were a few familiar faces at opening night of Cirque du Soleil’s show “Totem,” including Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Putnam Investments poobah Bob Reynolds and wife Laura, Putnam’s Steve Krichmar and wife Karen, Nitin Nohria , dean of Harvard Business School, Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca and wife Judy, Reebok’s Paul Foster and wife Cecily, NSTAR’s Tom May , Boston Capital’s Jack Manning and wife Lyle Howland , former WBCN DJ Oedipus, Broadway in Boston’s Ann Sheehan , and Fan Pier owner Joe Fallon . The show runs at the Marine Industrial Park until July 22. . . . “CSI: NY” star Gary Sinise had dinner the other night at Lucia Ristorante in the North End. . . . And singer James Taylor had lunch at Legal Sea Foods in Park Square Thursday.
