Congrats to Needham homey Scott Rosenberg, who just signed a seven-figure deal with Disney for an untitled action comedy. Deadline.com reports that several studios were bidding for the project, whose plot is being kept under wraps. Rosenberg, whose credits include the movie “Beautiful Girls” and the TV show “October Road,” also recently sold a script for a comedy called “The Hauntrepreneur,” with Russell Brand to star. And Rosenberg did a rewrite for “Pain and Gain,” the film starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson that Michael Bay is currently directing.
