‘Mamma Mia!’ costar Mary Callanan celebrates at home

It’s a homecoming of sorts for Brighton’s Mary Callanan, one of the stars of “Mamma Mia!,” which opened this week at the Opera House. The Boston Latin grad is making the most of her time here: She sang the national anthem at Fenway Wednesday and will perform with her costars at the Pops’ July Fourth bash on the Esplanade. . . . The annual golf tourney benefiting the Boston Police Athletic League raised some serious dough this week. Among those hitting the links at the Wollaston Golf Club in Milton were Mayor Tom Menino, Wyman Street Advisors’ Chip Batchelder, BPD Commissioner Ed Davis, Zoo New England president John Linehan, Eastern Standard’s Garrett Harker, Magellan Jets president Anthony Tivnan, philanthropist Don Rodman, and F1 Boston’s RJ Valentine.
