Tedy Bruschi tries to beat the heat at his Gillette Stadium minicamp.

As he has for the past few years, former Pats linebacker Tedy Bruschi hosted a minicamp for 54 kids at Gillette Stadium Wednesday, and the pigskin peewees even got a proper intro over the PA system. (The annual camp is sponsored by SBLI, for whom Bruschi serves as celebrity spokesman.) To ensure that the future Hall of Famers stayed cool in the scorching heat, misting stations were set up and there were plenty of water bottles to go around. Bruschi enlisted some of his football buddies to lend a hand, including Zoltan Mesko, Jerod Mayo, Brian Hoyer, Stephen Gostkowski, and former Pats Christian Fauria, Sammy Morris, and Ray Ventrone.
