Theater, television, and film star Cherry Jones, who was a fixture on the critically acclaimed (but now canceled) NBC show “Awake,” has signed on to star as Amanda Wingfield in the American Repertory Theater’s production of “The Glass Menagerie” next season. Jones is a founding company member of the ART. Her last ART production was 2002’s “Lysistrata.” She also played the president on “24.”
