Those Big Night Entertainment boys Ed and Joe Kane, Randy Greenstein, and Kevin Long cut the ribbon on their latest restaurant venture this week. Empire Asian Kitchen & Lounge opened on Joe Fallon’s Fan Pier, and Hizzoner Tom Menino, Larry Lucchino, and investors Shawn Thornton and Billy Costa were there to mark the occasion. … Sox owner John Henry and his wife, Linda Pizzuti Henry, were at the TEDxBoston conference at the Seaport World Trade Center Friday, and checked out a replica of Fenway Park that was printed on a 3-D printer by Billerica-based Objet Geometries. … Before their show at the Bank of America Pavilion, Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos and Ian Hultquist played a few songs in the MFA’s Barbara and Theodore Alfond Auditorium for listeners of WFNX. Angelakos dedicated the set to the radio station, which was the first to play their music and is going off the air July 23. ... Actor Donald Glover dined at Legal Harborside Friday. ...
