What an amazing story. Thank you for bringing this to the public. These stories help us realize that the victims were people like us, and yet, at the same time, how many of us would be as brave? I will google and try to find out where I can get the book.
I have read Susie's other book "I refused to Die" and I will definitely get this one as well. Her interviews with Holocaust survivors are real and the most compelling stories that I have ever read. She should be commended for her dedication on the subject, and for her ability to allow the victims to disclose the horror that they experienced. It should be a required read for schools all over the world.
