Boston actress and former Buckingham Browne & Nichols student Ari Graynor was back in the Hub on Monday and Tuesday to screen and promote her soon-to-be-released comedy, “For a Good Time, Call ...,” which follows two unlikely friends who start a phone sex line. Graynor, who also has a role in the indie comedy “Celeste and Jesse Forever,” had her parents and a group of local friends in the audience at the Monday night screening, which was hosted by the Revere Hotel’s swanky Theater 1. She was joined on stage for a lively Q&A by her costar and co-producer Lauren Anne Miller, Miller’s co-writer and co-producer Katie Anne Naylon, and their director Jamie Travis. During interviews Tuesday, Graynor said she’s been back to Boston as much as possible over the years but that she really fell in love with the city all over again when she filmed the local 2011 comedy “What’s Your Number?” with Anna Faris and fellow Massachusetts native Chris Evans. Graynor also revealed that she’ll have more time on the East Coast next month when she begins a run of “The Performers” on Broadway with Henry Winkler and Cheyenne Jackson.
