Recent bird sightings on Cape Cod (as of Oct. 10) as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

Two rare birds from the western US were banded at the South Monomoy lighthouse bird banding station this week – a Townsend’s solitaire and a black-throated gray-warbler.
