Pro-helmet forces in Boston have launched two separate initiatives this month meant to encourage cyclists to don headgear. One is a graphic advertising campaign to show what happens to riders with head injuries. The other is the first-ever helmet vending machine, called HelmetHub, to be installed near the bike-share kiosk at the Boston Public Library. The question is whether cyclists like will be convinced to change their ways.
