End of season sales make for great deals

Creative Warehouse holds its annual “Super Yarn Sunday Sale” from noon to 4 p.m. this Sunday. Knitting needles, bags, needlepoint kits and canvases, books, and doll-making kits from owner Elissa Lazdowsky’s company The Dolly-Mamas will be 20 percent off. Previously discounted yarns including Reynolds (Lopi and Lite Lopi), Tahki, Berroco, Filatura Di Crosa, Classic Elite, and Lana Grossa will be $2. Vira Boutique has fall and winter clothing marked down as much as about 60 percent. Print dresses, skinny jeans, linen blazers from the store’s own line, and more were on the racks when we stopped in. The store’s international roster of designers includes Blu Pepper, Al&Alicia, Le Phare de la Baleine, and Won Hundred. The sale is expected to run through mid-February.
